Graham Trott

Leaving school in 1974, Graham started his career as a trainee photographer on an evening paper in Devon, and later as a senior photographer for another evening paper in Northampton.

He launched his freelance career in 1982 - mid-recession - and became a regular with The Daily Mail and The Sunday Express throughout the rest of the Eighties.

In 1990 he joined The European at its launch, as a contract photographer, covering the first democratic elections in eastern Europe, following the collapse of Communism the previous year. He traveled extensively around Europe,
until the paper went into administration following Robert Maxwell's death in 1991.

Once again he found himself launching his freelance career - in the middle of another recession. He soon found regular work, this time with The Sunday Telegraph, The Independent on Sunday Review, The Sunday Times as well as TIME and Business Week magazines where he gained a reputation for his expertise in location lighting on features and portraits.

He continues to work with a variety of business magazines in the UK, Germany, and the US along with regular corporate clients. He's currently working on a long term personal project, about a Somerset cider maker, which he hopes to exhibit and publish in due course.
